This Spring (2026), Kim Zumpfe and I are co-teaching IML 404: Tangible & Spatial Computing at USC’s Division of Media Arts + Practice. Our students are learning about the fundamentals of sculpture and spatial design, CAD modeling, digital object reconstruction, digital fabrication, post-processing for 3D printing + laser cutting, installation design, rapid prototyping, node-based programming, audio analysis, MIDI signal monitoring + control, DMX lighting, gesture control, projection mapping, and more.
